Lixo Extraordinário

This brazilian documentary movie shows us how possible it is make art with trash. The movie is set in the landfill of Gramacho, and talks about trash material and trash lives, introducing us to the biggest  landfill of the world and the poor life of the trash pickers. In the middle of movie process it was evident the possibility of the film change the sadness life of the garbage collectors and this really happened. I think this movie proves that it is possible to change the life of poor people around the world, even if they live in abject poverty.

Se eu fosse você

There are among  Brazilian movies some ones that stand out  because of its famous actors more than because of the characters or their history.  The movie “Se eu fosse você” shows a history seen a lot in others American movies, ever with the motivation of knowledge and respect  for each other.

There is such a wonderful show of blue birds.

Ecxataly as Brazil's true colors. There are fantatics birds.

In one scene there is a bird that looks like a teacher: it is holding a ruler pointing at things at a whiteboard.

The blue bird talks with a woman as if there was real communication. Everybody wants to speak with animlas and know their world of the fantasties and dreams.Whenever you have problems on the floor, spread your wings and fly high looking at the colors around you.

Tropa de Elite 2 – O inimigo agora é outro

       Tropa de Elite 2 is a good  film that tries to show the reality of Brazilian politics. So, the story starts with violence, deaths, poverty and  an urban war.

       The principal topic of this film is the “militia”, which is the corruption of the police.

     A captain of the BOPE (special police), called Nascimento, discovers  that his enemies aren´t in jail, on the contrary, they are quite  free... 

      But it is all reported with an air of comedy.
